The sixth Franklin Moore was born April 8, 1993 to Frank, aka Spike, and Jennifer Moore. Jennifer’s maiden name is McCutcheon and her father had been known as Mac. With a family history of using the mother’s maiden name as a middle name it seemed a foregone conclusion that the Moore’s first son would need to be named Franklin McCutcheon Moore. Since birth he’s been called Mac, though in college he started going by Frank.
Mac is the first of the Franklin Moore’s not to grow up in St. Clair. He grew up in Ann Arbor and attended the public schools there including Dicken Elementary, Slauson Middle School and Pioneer High School.
He loves sports and played tennis, basketball, soccer and other sports as a child. He excelled in tennis and played on the Pioneer High School tennis team, one of the top teams in the state. His senior year, at third doubles, he and his partner won the state championship for their flight.
Mac graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2015 and majored in Political Science. He’s employed at Sigma Financial, an independent broker/dealer, in Ann Arbor where he works in operations.
